Software for people.
Built for real work.

I develop claims software, work with SQL, and deploy locally hosted AI.

AI Developer Analyst at Adaptive Information Technologies, supporting GoAuto Insurance. Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in a hybrid role.

01 / PROFESSIONAL FOCUS

Build. Investigate.
Put AI to work.

Three connected areas of practice: improving existing software, investigating data, and bringing AI into use.

01CLAIMS SOFTWARE

Software grounded in daily work.

Understanding the workflow is part of building the solution.

The focus

My work so far has focused on maintaining and improving existing first notice of loss (FNOL) software, investigating issues and making fixes.

My contribution

I work with technical and business colleagues to understand the intended behavior before making changes.

How I approach it

I value clear requirements and evidence. I use data to check assumptions and communicate technical findings in language that helps colleagues make decisions.

02SQL & ANALYSIS

Follow the data.
Check the assumptions.

SQL is a practical tool for understanding a system.

I use SQL to investigate data, validate application behavior, and support evidence-based recommendations. That means connecting a business question to the records behind it and checking whether the results support the explanation.

My contribution includes translating those findings into clear documentation and discussions with both technical and business colleagues.

03LOCAL AI DEPLOYMENT

From evaluation
to implementation.

I am actively working on deploying a locally hosted AI model.

This work extends my experience evaluating AI into hands-on deployment. It brings together practical implementation and careful assessment of how a model behaves.

My evaluation background includes structured scenarios, reasoning stress tests, and failure analysis. I bring that same questioning approach to deployment: understanding capabilities and limitations is part of making AI useful.

DATABASES & BUSINESS SOFTWARE

Dione’s Inventory Lab

A retail inventory demo with real database operations and fictional data. Receive stock, record sales, and follow the changes through reports and history.

INTERACTION & GAME LOGIC

River Run

A browser arcade game built around timing and movement. Keyboard and touch controls make the same game playable across screen sizes.

A CLOSER LOOK / DIONE’S

Make database behavior visible.

The goal was to demonstrate the ability to use a database through a working application. Dione’s connects familiar inventory tasks to the records, relationships, and transactions behind them.

The design

Six related tables separate workspaces, suppliers, products, receipts, receipt lines, and stock movements. Foreign keys enforce relationships; unique SKUs identify product variants within a workspace.

The important decision

A shipment updates several records. A transaction and product row lock keep the receipt, stock balance, and history together. If the operation fails, its changes roll back.

What to test

Follow the guided walkthrough: receive five units, sell two, and compare the reports. Try selling more than is available to see validation in action, then reset your sample data.

Verification and demo boundaries

Checks cover transaction totals, rejected overselling, session isolation, duplicate SKUs, decimal prices, and resets. Each visitor uses fictional records in a separate browser session. Workspaces expire after seven days, with cleanup triggered by visits.

This is a portfolio demonstration, not a production retail service. Receipts contain one product per shipment, and inventory valuation uses the product’s current unit cost rather than FIFO.

03 / EXPERIENCE

Building software.
Owning the details.

A background spanning software development, AI evaluation, and teaching.

JULY 2026 – PRESENT HYBRID

AI Developer Analyst

Adaptive Information Technologies

Software design and support vendor for GoAuto Insurance. Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee; joined July 13, 2026.

Earlier experience

AI evaluation & model training

Worked with Snorkel AI, Handshake, and DataAnnotation through July 2026, developing reasoning stress tests, evaluating computer science responses, and writing structured review rubrics.

Software & visualization

As a software engineering intern at Grid Protection Alliance, implemented SEBrowser UI features using TypeScript, C#, and SQL, with changes reviewed and merged through pull requests. View SEBrowser ↗

Teaching & mentoring

Supported introductory computer science courses for approximately 120 students as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, leading labs and holding office hours.

04 / PERSPECTIVE

Technology is only useful
when people can use it.

My background connects computer science, psychology, and software engineering. That combination shapes how I approach AI: understand the person and the workflow, then build the system around them.

I value clear requirements, careful evaluation, and software that people can understand and use.
